## What Causes an Over-the-Top Swing?

The club works over the plane on the downswing, producing pulls, slices, and weak contact.

The club head appearing outside the hands at the start of the downswing. Best seen in the down-the-line view.

### Key frames to check:

- P4 (top of backswing) — where are the hands?
- P5 (early downswing) — is the club above or below the backswing plane?
- P6 (impact) — steep angle of attack

## How to Analyze Your over-the-top with V1 GOLF

1

Record your swing face-on and down-the-line at the range

2

Use slow motion to scrub through impact and identify the fault

3

Compare side-by-side to a correct swing to see the difference
