## What Causes a Golf Hook?

A hook curves hard left (for right-handers) due to a closed face or in-to-out path.

A closed clubface at impact or an exaggerated in-to-out swing path. Check grip pressure and forearm rotation.

### Key frames to check:

- Grip check — are hands turned too far right?
- Impact — is the face closed to the path?
- Follow-through — are the forearms rolling aggressively?

## How to Analyze Your hook with V1 GOLF

1

Record your swing face-on and down-the-line at the range

2

Use slow motion to scrub through impact and identify the fault

3

Compare side-by-side to a correct swing to see the difference

### Hip Sway

Lateral movement of the hips instead of rotation in the backswing, causing reverse pivots and loss of power.

### Early Extension

The hips thrust toward the ball in the downswing, blocking the arms and causing pushes, hooks, and thin shots.
