# Analyze Your Casting with V1 GOLF

Slow motion video reveals exactly what's causing your casting — and how to fix it.

## What Causes a Casting?

Early release of the wrist angle (lag) in the downswing, robbing power and causing thin/fat contact.

The wrist angle releasing before impact. In slow motion, the hands should maintain a forward-leaning shaft until just before impact.

### Key frames to check:

- P5 — is lag maintained or has it already released?
- P6 — is the shaft leaning forward or backward at impact?

## How to Analyze Your casting with V1 GOLF

1

Record your swing face-on and down-the-line at the range

2

Use slow motion to scrub through impact and identify the fault

3

Compare side-by-side to a correct swing to see the difference

## Related Swing Faults to Analyze

[

### Over-the-Top

The club works over the plane on the downswing, producing pulls, slices, and weak contact.

### Loss of Distance

A combination of faults — early release, poor rotation, and off-center contact — that reduce clubhead speed and transfer.
